About Odd Flock
Odd Flock is my one person creative marketing studio. My name is Lucia, and I am a neurodivergent marketing and content strategist and copywriter based in Central Texas. The name “Odd Flock” comes from wanting a space for people who have never quite felt like part of the standard flock at work or in business, but still want to belong somewhere and be taken seriously. I work with neurodivergent people, people with disabilities, women, LGBTQ+ folks, and anyone who has ever felt misunderstood in business.
Who I am
I’ve spent more than eight years working in content and marketing across B2B tech and SaaS, fashion, ecommerce, healthcare, and local businesses. Most of my work has centered on content strategy, search‑friendly writing, social content, thought leadership, and editorial planning. I think of myself as a bit of a marketing chameleon: I like to understand the audience, their challenges, and the solution before I start suggesting anything. To me, marketing is not about shouting the loudest; it is about getting the right message to the right person at the right time in a way that feels honest and authentic.
I have been working fully remotely since 2020, which gave me room to find a rhythm that fits my autistic and ADHD brain much better than office life ever did. Before that, I spent a lot of time trying to keep up with environments and expectations that did not make sense for my brain, masking how hard it was, and wondering why things that seemed easy for other people felt draining or confusing to me. That experience is a big part of why I care so much about how work is set up and how we communicate.
Outside of work, I care a lot about art, animals, music, film, the environment and learning new things. I like making things, noticing small details, and following my curiosity into new topics. Those same instincts show up in my client work: paying attention, looking for patterns, and treating every business as its own specific thing instead of forcing it into a template.
A lot of my approach comes down to empathy and clarity. I know what it is like to have a busy brain, limited energy, and ideas that do not always fit neatly into standard boxes. When we work together, I am interested in how things actually feel and function for you, and in finding language and structures that respect both you and the people you are trying to reach.
You do not need a perfect plan, clean systems, or the “right” level of togetherness to reach out. If we work together, we look at what is going on, name what matters most to you, and choose a few next steps that feel genuinely doable. If that sounds like what you have been looking for, you are welcome to join the flock.
I currently balance Odd Flock alongside a full‑time role, so I take on a limited number of client projects at a time.
